MAINTENANCE OF MR-GLASS PRODUCTS
How to Clean Impact Windows and Doors Manufactured by Mr Glass
It is important that our products be treated with some basic precautions:
1. The best cleaning agents are water and a pH-neutral detergent (pH5 to 8),such as a mild soap proven safe for bare hands.
2. Use an absorbent damp cloth that is a non-abrasive media such as cottonwool, non woven lint free paper towel white color only.
3. With any soap or detergent, the finish coat should be thoroughly rinsed and dried.
4. Do not use abrasive sponges, steel wool or any colored fabric.
5. Be careful of water retention areas that can retain cleaning agents. Ensure these are well rinsed.
6. Stronger detergents should be carefully spot tested in a hidden area to make sure that there is no discoloration or chemical reaction.
7. Construction residues (mortar, plaster, etc.) are best removed using aplastic or wooden spatula. Never use metallic objects.
8. The use of high-pressure cleaning equipment is not recommended as it can damage the finish.
Frequency:
1. The frequency of the maintenance and cleaning of the finished surface depends on the area in which the window is installed.
• In Marine, Coastal, and/or industrial environments: Clean at least once a month. In all other areas: Clean at least once every three (3) months.
In case of doubt regarding the warranties and maintenance of a particular product, please consult Mr-Glass Doors and Windows.
NOTE: For purposes of the limited warranty proof of compliance with cleaning procedures, such as service invoices or logs, must be kept as proof that cleaning procedures were carried out in a timely manner.

Screen care and maintenance tips
Your screen is designed for ease of use and to provide everyday protection from insects. With a few simple care instructions, you can help keep it functioning smoothly for years to come.
1.Cleaning
- Clean the tracks every few months using a vacuum or soft brush to remove dust, sand, and debris.
- Wipe down the screen frame and mesh with a mild soap solution and a soft cloth or sponge.
- Avoid using abrasive cleaners or high-pressure spray.
- Allow all parts to dry completely before operating.
2.Roller Adjustment
- If the screen drags or becomes misaligned, check the bottom rollers that include small adjustment screws near the bottom corners.
- Use a Phillips screwdriver to raise or lower the rollers (lower the rollers or the screws) until the screen slides smoothly.
- Adjust both sides evenly to keep the frame centered in the opening.
3.What to Avoid
- Do not push or lean against the screen — it is not designed to bear weight.
- Avoid slamming or forcefully pushing the screen into its frame.
- Keep pets from scratching or jumping on the screen mesh.
4.Quick Tips
- A small amount of dry silicone spray can be applied to the tracks for smoother operation — never use oil-based lubricants.
- If your screen becomes loose or shows signs of wear, contact your dealer or installer for service or replacement.
5.Seasonal Use
- If not using the screen for an extended period (e.g., during winter), you may remove it and store it in a dry, covered location to prevent damage.
